Our Projects & Groups
Farnborough Lali Guras
This delightful social group began in Spring 2016 and is funded by the People's Health Trust. The group was set up to support local Nepali people who struggle with isolation and access to local sevices. The group meets twice weekly and visitors can take part in keep fit, English lessons, computer skills, craft, sewing and cookery. We also provide a fresh buffet and refreshments. It's always great fun and a good place for Nepali people to socialise and improve confidence and communication. Camberley "Lali Guras" Learning Group
A response to the increasing Nepali population in Surrey, this exciting new program is a partnership with The Camberley Library Service. Each week the group will participate in a unique "blended" learning programme to enable a broader ability for non-english speakers to access basic PC tuition and combine learning with practical application. Such as using the internet for jobs, appointments and health services, the new term sessions commence in Autumn 2016. Please contact 07919424886.
